About The Position

Prime, Inc. is looking for a motivated salesperson to join our Driver Recruiting team. This associate will primarily recruit, research, interview, screen and refers job candidates for openings.

Requirements

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to execute logical decisions quickly.
Ability to multitask in dynamic, fast-paced, team oriented environment.
Good computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to accurately type at 40 WPM .
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and the general Internet.
Require flexible schedule with the ability to work a Monday through Friday 8am-5pm shift with a weekend rotation and occassional travel.
Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.
Four year college degree in a business related field or at least one year in a customer service environment preferred, but not required.
Must be able to sit for a large portion of the day.
Also needs to be able to multitask, talk on the telephone for extended periods of time and type efficiently.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry preferred, but not required.
Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements
Provides information about he organization and position to applicants
Provides information on company facilities and job opportunites to potential applicants
Confer with management to identify needs specifications within the company
Develop and maintain network for contacts to help identify and source qualified contacts
Initiate contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings
Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants
Schedule orientation for prospective drivers
Manage a high volume of phone calls
