Our recruiters are an integral part of our team and essential to our success in attracting candidates and hiring successful employees in the areas of transportation, logistics and fleet maintenance. The ideal candidate has experience building candidate pipelines, nurturing leads, turning rejections into relationships, all while using multi-prong marketing tools and communication skills. This position truly functions as our Company's ambassador. As a Recruiter you will: Actively market, recruit, interview, evaluate, and select applicants for Class A Driving, Salaried / Office, and Fleet Maintenance positions in accordance with Company hiring policies and EEO. Serve as a company advocate: research, contact, and build rapport with resources to identify new talent, provide company information, opportunities, and benefits; make presentations and maintain rapport where necessary. Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization needs; meet with supervisors/managers to discuss needs. Improve organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks. Attend and coordinate job fairs (onsite and off-site) to attract talent, where necessary. Attract candidates by building marketing campaigns using multiple media services, job service, online, radio, billboards, publications, schools, etc. Maintain and manage job postings (internal and external). Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements. Inform candidates of additional information required to complete the application process. Qualify new hires verifying previous employment and other required reporting. Schedule driver orientation; arrange transportation, lodging and meals for driver orientation. Ensure hire and pre-employment paperwork is completed per hiring policies. Maintain recruiting reports (staffing, seated list, costs per lead/applicant/hire, etc.). Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, namely multi-line dialing system, media campaigns; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks. Avoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures. Continually seek innovative ways to attract new talent.
