About The Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Entry level position
Design and draw/3D model tools based on customer provided prints.
Test and assemble tooling to provide customer with sample piece.
Communication with our off-site Tooling Order desk and sales team.
Data entry and some clerical duties.
Blueprint reading and 3D model manipulation.

KNOWLEDGE:

2 year degree in drafting or engineering related field/CAD certificate
program also accepted.
Creo 3D modeling software or equivalent a plus.
2D CAD (Auto CAD equivalent) a plus.
Microsoft Word/Excel experience.

SKILLS:

Good communication skills with ability to work well with others.
Must be able to handle quick deadlines with attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret blueprint or technical drawings.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

Hands on inspection & assembly of tooling
Testing of tools requires occasional lifting: Average weight 40-50 lbs.

Requirements
