About The Position

Entry level position Design and draw/3D model tools based on customer provided prints. Test and assemble tooling to provide customer with sample piece. Communication with our off-site Tooling Order desk and sales team. Data entry and some clerical duties. Blueprint reading and 3D model manipulation.

Requirements

• 2 year degree in drafting or engineering related field/CAD certificate program also accepted
• Good communication skills with ability to work well with others
• Must be able to handle quick deadlines with attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint or technical drawings
• Microsoft Word/Excel experience
• Hands on inspection & assembly of tooling
• Testing of tools requires occasional lifting: Average weight 40-50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Creo 3D modeling software or equivalent a plus
• 2D CAD (Auto CAD equivalent) a plus
