We act as a key partner for our clients by delivering exceptional quality, reliability, and safety in all that we do. We are seeking a DOT Compliance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding drivers and maintaining driver qualification files, vehicle files, and regulatory reporting for all DOT-regulated drivers and vehicles across North America. Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in a DOT Coordinator or related role, with a basic understanding of DOT regulations and their application
  • Experience with reporting and tracking, including Excel proficiency; experience with JDE, ARI, and Geotab is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, research issues, and solve problems
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and successfully complete pre-employment drug & alcohol screening

Responsibilities

  • Onboards new drivers and ensures all regulatory and company policies are met during the driver qualification process
  • Reviews hours of service reporting for compliance and ensures ELD requirements are met
  • Maintains vehicle files for all DOT trucks and trailers and ensures the completion of preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections to maintain compliance with regulatory and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT D&A testing and FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
  • Performs regular gate checks to identify gaps in vehicle, equipment, and driver documentation
  • Supports the improvement of and advances overall compliance for all DOT drivers and vehicles by staying well informed on current legislation and taking part in field operations as necessary
  • Ensures annual registration, insurance, and licensing is in compliance with company policy and state/federal guidelines
