The Door Attendant's responsibilities are including but not limited to opening doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel, provide professional hospitality in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all guests. Must greet all guests with a smile at all times, use the guest last name at all times when appropriate. Must assist guests with transportation to offsite locations using only approved taxi/limo services. Must always present a pleasant customer service attitude. Will need to have knowledge of hotel layout, meeting rooms, amenities, services, main attractions in the area, parking rates, etc. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable of all local attractions, restaurants, entertainment ideas and directions.
