The Grand Hyatt at SFO is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Food Runner, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring that food is delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. You will work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to uphold the Hyatt standard of service and hospitality. This is an hourly position with apensation of $25.25 per hour.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
- Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and transport trays or items weighing up to moderate weight.
- A team player with a positive attitude andmitment to providing exceptional guest service.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in various dining areas, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
- Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing plates, refilling water, and resetting tables as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure order accuracy and special requests are met.
- Ensure cleanliness andanization of work areas, including service stations and dining areas.
- Uphold Hyatt's brand standards and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Provide assistance with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Respond promptly to guest needs and inquiries to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintainpliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
