Must verify that all waste/condemn is properly weighed and documented. Must verify that cardboard combos are labeled as “condemn” when being utilized for condemn. Responsible for ensuring red barrels and any unused condemn materials are properly staged and organized throughout the entirety of the shift. Responsible for documented waste/condemn paperwork to the Cook Side Supervisor at the end of shift. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must wear company provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of math functions (addition, subtraction, average, etc.).
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as percentages to determine batching proportions.
• Basic computer skills.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with all levels including management.
• Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete floor, lift up to 100lbs., climb stairs and/or ladders.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Decision making ability for the flagging of deviation from procedures.
• Weigh scale operation knowledge preferred.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and clean up preferred.
• Must be able to work in temperatures as low as 40 degrees and work at a fast pace.
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read written instructions and communicate verbally in English with management and hourly employees.
• Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for his/hers coworkers.
• Ability to understand and perform the various tasks to standards established for the department.
• Must have or obtain a Foster Farms forklift certification.
• Must be able to submit to and pass criminal background, drug screen, and E-Verify.
