The PMO provides overall program management support to help clients optimize execution their financial operations. Specific responsibilities include supporting key leadership meetings by preparing briefing materials, participating in discussions, documenting major decisions, and capturing and tracking action items. The role also involves providing strategic guidance and technical assistance for audit preparation and remediation efforts, such as developing integrated enterprise strategies and implementing corrective action plans. Communication support for internal/external briefings and requests for information is also required. Additionally, the consultant will support ad hoc requests like researching topical accounting/auditing issues, developing and reviewing position papers, and providing integration support, as well as developing and monitoring trackers, master schedules, and similar work products.
