The PMO provides overall program management support to help clients optimize execution their financial operations. Specific responsibilities include supporting key leadership meetings by preparing briefing materials, participating in discussions, documenting major decisions, and capturing and tracking action items. The role also involves providing strategic guidance and technical assistance for audit preparation and remediation efforts, such as developing integrated enterprise strategies and implementing corrective action plans. Communication support for internal/external briefings and ad hoc requests like researching topical accounting/auditing issues, developing and reviewing position papers, and providing integration support are also part of the job. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for developing and monitoring trackers, master schedules, and similar work products.
