Technical Professionals Group, LLC is seeking a motivated, dependable and safe Document Control Specialist to support an engineering department at a large mining company in Kearny, AZ. Document Control Specialist Responsibilities and Duties: Manage controlled records and facilitate entry into the electronic document management system Manage and track engineering records such as engineering drawings and schematics Track projects costs Ensure documents are accurate and maintain their quality and integrity Upload documentation and enter manual data into the network library Must have excellent computer skills with Microsoft; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Needs to be a strong communicator, able to convey important information to co-workers, superiors, and contractor Requires excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities Other duties as assigned Any previous engineering experience is highly desired but not required Qualifications and Skills Must have a valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent Experience with SAP (plus) Requires the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Manage controlled records and facilitate entry into the electronic document management system Have or be actively majoring in Mine Engineering, Geology, or closely related discipline (plus) MSHA & OSHA certification will be required to obtain upon hire - 3 days on site paid training Physical and Environmental Job Requirements Sitting, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, carrying and lifting items of up to 25 lbs or more Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions; dusty, hot weather Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels Who we are: Our DNA is rooted in automotive design, engineering and testing.
