About The Position

Lightserve Electrical Power Solutions (EPS) is a division of Lightserve Corporation that specializes in electrical projects in the areas of lighting, electrical distribution, standby generation, and energy storage systems. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional for Document Control Manager position to support the creation of end-to-end document workflow within the EPS division. This position combines elements of document management (storage, retrieval, security, compliance) with workflow automation (routing, approvals, processes). This position helps to ensure documents are efficiently created, reviewed, approved, distributed, archived, or destroyed while minimizing risks, errors, and delays. This position will need to understand the business model and goals to support data sets, SOPs, forms, and other documents/workflows. We currently utilize Microsoft SharePoint, Monday CRM, and proprietary customer project management platforms. This role will work closely with the SVP of EPS Operations and will be accountable for internal stakeholder satisfaction, process quality, and timelines by working as a team with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of workflows. Knowledge of the electrical industry and program management methodologies is a plus. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring that assignments are completed on time and within scope. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour Certification or completion within an agreed upon timeline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, construction management, engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of controls, process, and workflow management in the construction industry.
  • Excellent persuasive and effective communication skills (written and oral).
  • Quick study with the ability to drill down and identify key drives and communicate insightful, actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational ability with daily management of multi-tasking.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of program management principles and methodologies related to workflow creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement projects effectively while managing time constraints and resource allocation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. Minimal travel would be required but must possess valid Driver’s License.

  • Experience with monday CRM cloud-based platform.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint cloud-based platform.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revue software platform.
  • Experience in the design-build construction industry, processes, materials, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Update and support maintenance of electric content management (ECM) platforms.
  • Develop document control policies, procedures, and standards for creation, review, approval, distribution, versioning, and archiving.
  • Configure and optimize automated workflows.
  • Monitor document workflows to ensure timely processing, identify bottlenecks, and improve efficiency through automation.
  • Collaborate with IT, internal departments (e.g., sales and marketing, engineering, project/program management, and operations center), and stakeholders to align systems with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform quality checks, and lead updates or integrations.
  • Identifies and takes part in continuing education opportunities to further their individual knowledge and grow the company’s reputation.
  • Demonstrates accountability and responsibility by completing projects/assignments on time, holding self and others accountable for meeting objectives, and adhering to company standards.
  • Additional job duties/responsibilities as assigned.
