Requirements

  • Able to use computer and applicable software, i.e. MS Office applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience as a ISO/IATF lead auditor preferred
  • Able to lead internal team of auditors
  • Ability to address non-conformances with responsible departments
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent skills and knowledge
  • Experience in an administrative support function/document control
  • Advanced skills in MS Office software and applications
  • Strong computer skills and experience required
  • IATF 16949 Certified Lead Auditor preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set schedule for audits (internal/product/LPA).
  • Lead QMS audits,
  • Ensure audits conducted per established schedule
  • Establish Timing of External Audits
  • Maintain QMS audit results and actions. Report results and action as applicable to the audit(s)
  • Follow up with External and Internal Audit corrective actions until closed
  • Assure Vehtek meets ISO 9000:2015, IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System standard and customer-specific requirements.
  • Maintain Lead Auditor status with establishing internal auditors
  • Handle confidential information on a regular basis
  • Update and maintain SharePoint site for document control, reporting functions and review for accuracy
  • Organize document structure
  • Maintain document control process and historical document control records
  • Perform document audits to ensure document annual reviews occur
  • Follow-up action to ensure responsible document owners update responsible documents as applicable.
  • Create / Track key performance indicator reports (KPI) for audits completion, audit failures, countermeasure status, and document reviews status.
  • Participate in Continual Improvement activities
  • Adhere to customer requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
