About The Position

Would be responsible for the hands-on execution of document control tasks, maintaining document repositories, and supporting onsite teams. Current Document Control Scope:   1. Lead Closeout meetings for small- and large-scale projects. 2. Formally review construction turnover documentation and route it to the appropriate staff to perform a technical review. 3. Audit new and existing documentation for standards compliance and formatting. Typical file formatting checks will include file format compliance, file naming compliance, etc. 4. Perform audit checks of document indexes against document uploads for completeness and identifying missing files. 5. Audit document metadata for completeness, and apply metadata updates when needed before upload. 6. Complete project setup tasks, including coordinating large document share requests. 7. Manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process on site, to ensure documents are processed through the proper change management process. 8. Prepare folder structures for upload to Google’s document management system. 9. Follow established documentation processes and procedures, and provide guidance and training to various stakeholders, both internally and externally. Suggest process improvements for document control related topics. 10. Support other document control related duties as assigned by Client’s project manager. 11. Provide weekly reports on status of projects. 12. Support lessons learned program initiative, as directed by the Data Center Services team. 13. Work will be performed under guidance from Client’s point of contact to facilitate support and regional guidance/direction.

Requirements

  • 7-10 year minimum experience with data entry, compiling of files and distribution of project documentation is required
  • A passion and previous experience working in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and files.
