About The Position

This is a 2nd Shift Position Responsibilities Ensure all facility safety rules and regulations are followed and all violations are reported immediately Promote good housekeeping of the facility and adherence to the 5s program Assist in driving the facility Safety audits, Zone walks and Quality audit programs Perform all technical job duties which include releasing/providing daily work to the shipping associates to complete orders efficiently in the EWM system. Run reports to maintain all orders current for the distribution center to meet KPI metrics Ensure compliance of handling special identified customer processing requests Liaison with Transportation and Customer Service advising them of requested information or errors. Schedule outbound trailers to include all routing for all customer needs domestic and international Track and ensure completion of all orders once they come to the shipping area Partner with Coordinators to address all piles in the shipping area in a timely manner Update all tracking logs, boards, audits, emails, and checklists daily Assist in the accurate processing of all paperwork (including BOLs) for US and International customer orders Take action on processing incomplete orders Ensure proper flow of the shipping department, this includes the small parcel area, non con area, LTL lines, sortation loop, and packing area Assist department Coordinators toward analyzing and detecting problems and work toward their ultimate solution Assist on the following when needed- ASN process, wrapping and loading of pallets, flexible hours to cover if required. Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and one to two years related warehouse experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations
  • Ability to prioritize and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of credibility
  • Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities and multi-tasking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to problem solve
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
