About The Position

What You’ll Be Doing: Establish and maintain an organized flow of goods in the stock room and onto the sales floor. Stock product and assist in tagging/preparing merchandise. Inspect and correct improperly priced merchandise. Organize and maintain the stockroom to company standards. Log and file all paperwork accurately. Ensure accuracy of all incoming/outgoing shipments of merchandise. Prepare merchandise for vendor returns, transfers, or customer shipments. Maintain awareness of loss prevention situations to limit risk. Protect company assets and control inventory shrinkage. Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is delivered and proper product matches the expected amounts. Unload merchandise into stock room or offsite. Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes. Stock shelves with unpacked items and replenish inventory as needed. Ensure label is clear and visible. Help customers fill orders and ensure customers received product ordered. Complete customer’s mail, Web, and phone orders by retrieving the ordered merchandise as well as prepare merchandise for shipment. Compute price of merchandise. Demonstrate a professional image in words, actions, and appearance. Like challenges and strives to exceed goals. Are dedicated, punctual and responsible. Are self-motivated. Demonstrate ethical behavior and take pride in work quality. Are solution oriented. Possess strong operational skills and attention to detail. Can take direction from many sources and executes action. Qualifications Qualifications of the role: Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. High School Diploma or GED required. Able to stand, move around the store, lift/push product that weigh up to 35 pounds, and use a ladder to complete job duties.
