This role leads the Divisional and Local Sales Team, with accountability for sales execution, financial performance analysis, and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities across branch operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years combined industry and sales operations experience.
  • 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years prior sales management or management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic business mindset with an emphasis on sales and growth.
  • Effectively and professionally communicate with prospective buyers, customers, outside agencies, and employees. Demonstrated ability to coach sales professionals on both company process and soft selling skills.
  • Accountable for Business Plan performance management and strategic mindset to deliver profitability to Commercial, Institutional, & Data Centers End Market.
  • Computer aptitude to manage prospect activity and research necessary info pertinent to new Sales
  • Aptitude to run and review reports and pinpoint areas of need that align with company initiatives. Understands the metrics that drive sales – lead volume, sales conversion, cancellation rates, etc.
  • Key Attributes: Relationship Mgmt., Communication Skills, Problem Solving, Selling Cycle/Skills, Process Improvement, Sales related Program & Project Mgmt.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, Hire & Develop a business development team.
  • Coach sales personnel.
  • Develop and support relationships with Voltyx Operating Companies Operations personnel to encourage and grow cross-selling.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of Voltyx Division, Regions, and local offices.
  • Educate and create accountability for disciplined use of CRM for Business Development Managers.
  • Trains and leads Business Development Managers to ensure the company’s strategic plan is being met for traffic, leads, sales, and closings.
  • Attends, Participates, and Evaluates sales appointments with Business Development Managers.
  • Deliver field ride evaluations.
  • Builds and maintains a disciplined sales force that sells Transformer, Testing, Engineering, Strategic Products, and Tech-Enabled Services.
  • Drives the sales team to leverage technology tools and systems (CRM and Work Order Management)
  • Research market pricing and establishes weekly sales updates to Operations Leaders.
  • Active participant in the establishment of the Market Business Plan and responsible for developing the tactics, tools, and deadlines needed to achieve that Plan.
  • Actively involved with the operations leaders to ensure a steady flow of opportunities through the production process to meet sales objectives.
