As a Division Controller, you will support the company’s growth and strategic direction by overseeing accounting operations while driving financial planning, analysis, and business decision support. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis, with at least 3 years in manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience leading month-end close and financial reporting
  • Prior leadership experience managing teams and engaging with executive stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial reporting
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
  • Experience building budgets
  • Strong internal control and audit management expertise
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency; experience with ERP and BI tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CMA certification, preferred
  • Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth organizations
  • Experience leading finance system implementations or process transformations
  • Prior remote people-leadership experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end accounting operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, general ledger management, accounting policies, and documented procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
  • Establish and maintain internal controls; coordinate external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting; and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and working capital reporting
  • Lead finance systems and reporting tool improvements; support M&A, restructuring, and other enterprise growth initiatives
  • Develop, coach, and mentor accounting and finance team members
  • Partner with business unit Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones
