About The Position

Westborough Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Diving Coach to join our aquatics team. We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented and passionate about coaching. The candidate is expected to have experience working with children aged 6 to 17. Developing athletes of all skill levels is a top priority while maintaining a positive and supportive environment to help divers achieve their personal bests. Requirements

Proven experience coaching diving at a competitive level.
Strong knowledge of diving techniques, safety procedures, and competition rules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct diving practices and training sessions for divers of various ages and skill levels.
Develop individualized coaching plans to help athletes improve technique, strength, and performance.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to encourage athlete growth and confidence.
Manage logistics for diving meets, including coordinating athlete participation.
Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during all practices and events.
Collaborate with other coaching staff and club personnel to maintain a positive team environment.
Track and evaluate athlete progress through regular assessments and reporting to the team's head coach.
