Raytheon Strategic Development and Partnership team is seeking a Divesture and Strategic Development Execution Analyst to support the execution of mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture activities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. In this role you will operate at the intersection of strategy, program management, and execution with a focus on navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and driving outcomes across a broad set of stakeholders, including senior executives. This is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond traditional program management into a deal-driven environment where the stakes are high, the pace is fast, and the problems are complex. You will be expected to step into the unknown, create structure, and drive outcomes, often with senior leadership visibility, providing direct exposure to executive leadership, enterprise decision-making, and high-impact transactions. You will play a critical role in supporting transaction execution, separation planning, and cross-functional coordination. And you will operate in environments that are not fully defined, requiring initiative, ownership, and the ability to create structure where it does not yet exist. This ONSITE position will be in one of the following Raytheon locations: Woburn, MA, Arlington, VA, Farmington, CT, McKinney, TX, or Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not provided. Some travel may be required to other RTX and target company sites.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience.
  • Experience in Program Management and / or Material Program Management (MPM) and / or equivalent cross-functional project / program management.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting executive-level reporting or communications.
  • Familiarity with financial, operational, or IT/DT workstreams.
  • Exposure with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and / or large-scale transformations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity thriving in environments without clear structure or answers.
  • Excellent problem-solving mindset proactively finding solutions vs. waiting for direction.
  • Self-starter / entrepreneurial thinker taking ownership and drives outcomes independently.
  • Strong communicating skills comfortably engaging with and presenting to executives.
  • Proactive connector willing to reach out, build relationships, and gather information across unfamiliar teams.
  • Resilient and adaptable to pivot quickly in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including separation planning and Day 1 readiness.
  • Drive program management activities across multiple workstreams (IT, Finance, HR, Operations, etc.).
  • Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and track to resolution.
  • Build structure in ambiguous environments; develop frameworks, trackers, and report where none exist.
  • Proactively engage cross-functional stakeholders, including reaching out to new teams and leaders to obtain information and drive alignment.
  • Prepare materials for leadership (e.g., SteerCo updates, executive summaries, risk registers).
  • Support decision-making by gathering, synthesizing, and presenting complex information clearly.
  • Operate with urgency in a high-tempo, deal-driven environment.
