About The Position

Manage the development of Builders, Accounts and National Account opportunities. Implement effective Builder recruitment and execute cancellations of non-performing Builders. Responsible for Marketing Nucor Building Systems products in the assigned district. Establish annual sales plans for the assigned territory to achieve goals set with the Regional Sales Manager. Establish plans with each Builder to improve market presence inclusive of NBS penetration, quality of in-place products, and public image. Promote attendance of Builders to all training opportunities, NBS functions, and utilization of NBS marketing programs. Work with the Regional Sales Manager to develop personalized training for self-improvement. Create Best Mark opportunities to improve product quality, service functions and enhance builder relations. The candidate must be able to drive and travel extensively when required Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales or construction (PEMB or related fields).
  • Ability to manage relationships and work independently in a professional sales environment.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the territory

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience working directly with Builders or channel partners in the construction industry.
  • Prior experience in the metal building industry or graduate of the NBG DDSM program.
  • Familiarity with PEMB (pre-engineered metal buildings) is a strong plus but not required.
