About The Position

Viaero's Territory Managers are responsible for the operational function of their assigned sales territories, actively analyzing market and retail performance to achieve territory goals. Managers provide current staff with training, coaching, incentives, and evaluations to maximize subscriber growth while also focusing on retaining and presenting new products and services to existing customers. Territory Managers partner to ensure recruiting, hiring, and training of the most qualified candidates to meet their territory’s staffing needs. This manager's current sales territory includes retail stores in Alamosa, La Junta, Lamar, Burlington, and Limon Colorado.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate Degree highly desired
  • 5 years of business experience in managing multiple retail locations preferred
  • Experience in leading a diverse sales team in highly competitive market
  • Experience in profit and loss
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
  • Must have a Valid driver's license with clean driving record for the past 5+ years and have the ability to pass criminal background check and substance screen/drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor staff performance and provide development opportunities, coaching, and a positive territory atmosphere to achieve sales goals
  • Support company sales initiatives, practices, and techniques, and communicate them effectively to staff
  • Grow market share within the territory assigned while maintaining budgeted expenses
  • Identify, plan, and implement promotional events within the community/region for Viaero Wireless products and services
  • Ensure retail store cleanliness, marketing, and display standards are incorporated throughout the territory
  • Ensure territory staff develops relationships with local chambers, economic development committees, schools, etc.
  • Analyze and report territory revenue and sales activity
  • Communicate competitors' local market information
  • Prepare and conduct daily/weekly team meetings
  • Complete required performance appraisals
  • Partner to ensure recruitment, hiring, and development of highly qualified territory staff
