SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE Direct all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, administration and sales in accordance with the Company’s objectives for a specified territory. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Direct operations that concern the distribution, administration, customer service and sales for the branch.
  • Evaluate conditions of local markets and determine new opportunities for sales.
  • Manage and direct Sales Representatives; i.e., sales meetings, submission of daily paperwork.
  • Work with Warehouse management, as directed by Branch Manager, when needed to ensure product availability, proper truck loads, vehicle condition, breakage control, cleanliness and check in/out procedures
  • Manage total market place and key trade personnel to generate and expand business, attain incremental space, manage display execution and merchandising standards; monitor resets/rack placements.
  • Form objectives and build plans for business growth within assigned territory.
  • Perform the job according to the target goals of the Company; track and communicate competitive activity.
  • Provide coaching and training of branch’s team, ensure motivation; provide performance evaluation, reviews and opportunities.
  • Identify which areas of business must be improved and suggest solutions in order to cope with issues; i.e., establish goals.
  • Monitor use of expansion routes and evaluate additional expansion, as needed.
  • Manage employee and customer satisfaction issues on time.
  • Improve the reputation and presence of the branch.
  • Attend trade functions, as required.
  • Work closely with Supermarket Managers to ensure proper execution of all programs offered.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required.
