About The Position

The District Manager, Refreshments is responsible for providing the overall vision, planning, direction, and control for assigned Market Centers, branches, and client locations within a defined geographic district, typically generating $20–$40M+ in annual revenue. This critical leadership role is accountable for the execution of the Refreshments operating model, with a strong emphasis on profitable growth, operational excellence, cost control, and productivity, while developing high-performing teams and consistently delivering financial commitments.   Whether overseeing multiple Market Centers, complex client portfolios, or a mix of traditional vending, micro-market, and office coffee service operations, the District Manager’s key success measures include Revenue Growth, EBIT, Margin Performance, Consumer Experience, Client Retention and Expansion, Route & Asset Optimization, and Employee Engagement.   In this role, frequent travel to Market Centers and client sites across the district, region, and country is expected to ensure strong operational execution, client satisfaction, and leadership presence in the field. This role is an in-person role, and remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available. Compensation DataCOMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.  This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting. In addition to base pay, this position offers: Quarterly commission opportunities tied to new business growth and overall sales performance Annual performance bonus potential aligned to business results, leadership effectiveness, and people outcomes  Accelerators and upside earnings for exceeding performance expectations Ramp and guarantee provisions to support onboarding and early success in the role Total incentive earnings vary based on performance and may significantly exceed the target for high performers. Incentive plans are reviewed annually and subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience, typically acquired over 5-10 years, including P&L responsibility within the hospitality, retail, facilities, direct store delivery or food and beverage industries. (route-related, coffee, vending, or micromarket experience is strongly preferred, but not required)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices, business judgement, and client/consumer interaction.
  • Confirmed ability to hire, assess, develop, and grow hard-working talent.
  • Comfortable reading, understanding, and implementing contractual requirements, including identifying opportunities within contract terms and conditions to address operational issues.
  • Established communication and teamwork skills to work with all levels of the organization, from the front-line associate to leadership.
  • Proven success in a repeatable business model, including leading through change and turnaround initiatives.
  • A bachelor’s degree is generally required to be successful; an advanced degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of multiple accounts and units.

  • Provide oversight and take ownership to deliver client and company financial targets using Aramark systems.
  • Understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
  • Lead managers in implementing and maintaining corporate management agenda for labor and financial initiatives.
  • Ensure value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
  • Ensure consistent application of Aramark’s operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence) with particular focus on efficiency standards.
  • Understand end-to-end supply chain and procurement process and systems; ensure only authorized suppliers are used.
  • Ensure managers maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.
  • Follow all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, and wage and hour.
