The Large Power Systems Division in Lafayette, IN currently has an opening for a Distribution Technician Receiver. In this role you will be responsible for material availability for facility consumption. One of the primary areas of focus for the receiver will be processing incoming material for the entire campus, helping process incoming damaged goods and maintaining a safe clean work environment. The receiver will also be responsible for receiving incoming material, labeling material, and communicating to the appropriate recipients.

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of stand-up fork truck experience.
Must have good written and oral communication skills.
Self-motivated, safety-conscious individual capable of working independently.
Basic computer skills.

Be flexible to work overtime as needed to support production demands.
Possess and show strong interpersonal skills and apply customer-based focus.

Responsibilities

Receiving incoming material for the facility by entering purchase orders, bill of ladings, ASN’s, pack slips and other documentation
Moving material
Maintaining communication with recipients
Utilizing computer system to input incoming orders and move interplant material
