Manage distribution aspects of the warehouse including personnel, FCNS fleet vehicle oversight, route scheduling, deliveries including add-ons, hotshots and emergencies. GPS tracking and oversight, distribution productivity and efficiency tracking, fleet repair , and maintenance oversight. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse distribution. Ability to perform in a rapidly changing environment with competing deadlines. Supervise the distribution team, ensure driver compliance with DOT and district regulations and arrange for ongoing training to stay in compliance Oversee the safe loading and delivery or pick up of food and non-food items according to a prescribed route/order schedule Ensure tracking of delivery tickets, add-ons, hot shots and emergency deliveries of food and non-food items Accountable for reconciling each delivery transaction by product type, count, driver signature, receiver signature, discrepancy and submitting these documents for tracking on the day of service Maintain/service warehouse equipment and vehicles and ensure food and non-food items are delivered safely and on time Assist in all warehouse operations; such as filling orders, sorting, loading and unloading incoming and outgoing material Provide oversight for custodial staff and equipment, cleaning schedules and ordering supplies for the facility Report all problems and maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate personnel for repairs Monitor the department's fleet and GPS records, preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of issues Monitor and establish the delivery routes that fit the department distribution needs at various time of year and to different sites/schools
