About The Position

National Jewish Health is seeking a Distribution Services Representative I to support the receipt, staging, and distribution of supplies and equipment across the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while collaborating with internal departments to resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory-related issues. The Distribution Services Representative I supports daily logistics operations that are essential to uninterrupted patient care and organizational efficiency. Position Summary The Distribution Services Representative I provides support for receipt, staging, distribution of supplies and equipment and analyze issues while working with peers in other departments to find a resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, reconciling, staging, and delivering packages, documents, and equipment throughout the campus
  • Supporting shipment preparation for couriers and carriers, including ad hoc deliveries, returns, and mis-deliveries
  • Assisting with fixed asset tracking and tagging prior to delivery in coordination with Finance
  • Collaborating with Purchasing, Information Services, and other departments to resolve delivery, scanner, and technical issues
  • Maintaining accurate documentation while supporting a safe, organized dock and delivery environment
  • Delivers packages and documents deliveries. Delivers gas cylinders - tanks as needed.
  • Reconciles packing slips to product and staging packages for delivery.
  • Helps with receipts of ad hoc packages.
  • Supports shipment preparation for couriers or other carriers.
  • Picking up miscellaneous packages including mis-deliveries and returns.
  • Assists with Fixed Assets, to include tracking via spreadsheet and tagging assets of NJH equipment before delivery of fixed asset.
  • Works closely with the finance department to reconcile PO issues.
  • Works with IS to troubleshoot issues with scanners, printing, and technical issues which results in work stoppage.
  • Assists other departments with use of the main dock; liaises with Purchasing on delivery issues.
