We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Distribution Network Manager to strengthen and optimize our North American distribution network, ensuring strong partnerships, market expansion, and sustainable long‑term growth. The Distribution Network Manager is responsible for managing distributor relationships and optimizing distribution activities across North America to maximize sales performance. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, resolving distributor challenges, ensuring high‑quality representation, and identifying growth opportunities that support Twin Disc’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product application, sales, or related technical sales functions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, JDE, Qlikview, and Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of Twin Disc products and applications (or ability to develop quickly).
  • Ability to manage complex distributor networks and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Valid passport required.

  • Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales initiatives through a strong North American distributor network to grow revenue and expand market share.
  • Develop, maintain, and elevate high‑performing distributor relationships aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuously assess distributor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement and manage periodic distributor re‑certification programs to maintain standards of excellence.
  • Organize product training sessions, plant tours, and engagement events to strengthen technical competency and partnership continuity.
  • Manage the Distributor Advisory Council to gather industry insights and align strategic priorities.
  • Monitor distributor inventory levels and warranty activity to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Support credit control and receivables management within approved limits.
  • Resolve distributor‑related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Travel up to 25% domestically to engage directly with distributors, support initiatives, and strengthen relationships.
