About The Position

Your Role & Responsibilities Provide leadership to deliver first class customer service. Maintain a safe work environment. Make sure daily distribution assignments are carried out in a timely manner. Make sure work area is clean and manageable. Manage transportation standards. Supervise the daily activities of assigned departments. Supervise the auditing of all transactions inbound and outbound depending on the department. Supervise traffic coordinator/dispatcher Manage all fleet equipment/assets; coordinate with maintenance team Personnel: Coach, guide and develop employees/drivers and hold them accountable for performance. Performance Reviews Issue disciplinary warnings Staffing: Train, evaluate and develop employees. Manage the departmental attendance/punch detail records. Treat employees fairly to help employee morale. Make recommendations for proper scheduling and shifting Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to your team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience, preferably in distribution and/or chemical industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Self-starter who has the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
