About The Position

As an Distribution Area Coordinator at our Cambridge, OH distribution center, you will help keep daily operations running effectively by organizing available work, supporting your team, and coordinating task flow throughout the shift. You will collaborate with team members and leaders across the area to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and safely. You will maintain an organized work environment and provide clear communication during daily shift hand off meetings. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Champion a safe, inclusive work environment for yourself and others. Assign tasks to team members and adjust work distribution as needed. Support team members in following company policies, procedures, and safety expectations.\ Work with your team to maximize productivity and ensure tasks are completed with accuracy. Complete assigned responsibilities as directed by your supervisor. Communicate effectively with employees, peers, and leadership. Provide end‑of-shift recaps and participate in daily hand‑off meetings. Perform other duties as required to support operational success. Successful completion of Emerson’s training on all required equipment, which may include fork trucks, standing Crown pick trucks, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and reach trucks. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Prior experience coordinating team workflow or leading small groups. Familiarity with distribution center processes, safety practices, or productivity tools. Ability to adapt work assignments quickly to meet shifting priorities.
