About The Position

Our client is a well-established manufacturer and engineering-led solutions provider specializing in industrial display technologies and embedded systems. The organization supports OEMs and system integrators with customized TFT-LCD display solutions, embedded computing platforms, and associated power technologies. Operating across North America as part of a broader international group, the company serves technically demanding markets where reliability, longevity, and engineering collaboration are critical. Their solutions are widely used in: Industrial automation Medical devices Military & defense applications Digital signage and professional display systems The business is known for its design-in support model, supply chain expertise, and ability to deliver value-added display and embedded solutions rather than commodity components. Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the North East U.S. region within their Display & Embedded division. This is a consultative, technical sales role focused on developing new business while expanding existing accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with customers’ engineering and procurement teams to specify and deliver tailored display and embedded system solutions.

Requirements

  • Background in TFT-LCD display technologies or display solutions
  • Knowledge of embedded controllers / SBCs
  • Proven business development or technical sales experience in the electronics or display sector
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote role
  • Understanding of supply chain considerations in electronics

  • Established customer relationships within the region is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities for TFT displays, embedded controllers, power supplies, and LED backlighting solutions
  • Engage with engineering teams to support design-in opportunities
  • Manage and grow relationships with OEMs and system integrators
  • Deliver customized display and embedded solutions aligned with customer application requirements
  • Support forecasting, pipeline management, and regional sales strategy
  • Collaborate with internal technical and supply chain teams to ensure solution delivery
  • Travel within the region to meet customers and develop accounts
