Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The Launch Operations / Dispenser System Technical Program Manager (TPM) will manage the end-to-end engineering and production lifecycles for the Kuiper Dispenser System (KDS). They will work across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful design, qualification, manufacturing and delivery of this space flight hardware. An ideal candidate is a technical leader of the team, as well as being responsible for project management, and will provide guidance on all aspects of the project. The candidate will work closely with the Dispenser provider(s), Leo engineering teams, Launch Operations Mission Managers who own the Launch Provider relationships, and Payload Processing Facility operational leadership. They should be comfortable in a highly technical setting, collaborating with - but also challenging assumptions and requirements - of these departments to reach the best solution to any problem. They'll have extensive experience in space hardware integration and test, with particular focus on satellite to dispenser and/or launch vehicle integration. 25% international travel is expected for this role
