About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned and driven General Manager to lead all aspects of operations at our cannabis dispensary in Easthampton, MA. This is a hands-on leadership role for a motivated professional who excels in fast-paced retail environments, understands the importance of regulatory compliance, and is passionate about building strong teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences. As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, compliance, and culture of the dispensary. You will oversee daily store operations while ensuring adherence to all local, state, and regulatory requirements. This includes managing cash handling procedures, inventory control and audits, staff scheduling, purchasing, merchandising, and sales performance. You will analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual sales data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to ownership. People leadership is central to this role. You will recruit, hire, train, and retain a diverse team, creating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance workplace. Through coaching, hands-on training, and consistent communication, you will ensure all employees understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures while feeling supported in their professional growth. Leading from the floor, you will model accountability, integrity, and exceptional customer service standards. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of retail experience, including a minimum of two years in a management role, preferably within a highly regulated or high-volume environment. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to problem-solve independently are essential. Familiarity with cannabis products, industry trends, and POS systems such as Greenbits is highly valued. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and select holidays, as well as the physical ability to support daily store operations as needed.
