About The Position

A Mid Valley Agricultural Services dispatcher is responsible for guiding the accurate, expedient, and efficient transport of agricultural products including, but not limited too; ag chemicals, fertilizers, nutrients, application equipment, parts, and any other items pertaining to the retail agriculture industry. Skills needed to perform daily tasks include multi-tasking, polite and courteous customer service skills, positive attitude towards others, navigational awareness, time management, and technological knowledge. Accurate and proper recordkeeping, as well as good note taking.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years Dispatcher experience
Intermediate with MS Office
ERP experience

Responsibilities

Provide excellent service and support to customers, clients, employees, and others by way of telephone, email, verbal conversation, and written correspondence.
Create sales orders, return authorizations and other electronic documents using company ERP software.
Schedule and delegate deliveries and pick up of materials and
Track and communicate with delivery drivers in order to guide them to a certain location and safely deliver products to customers.
Coordinate delivery schedules with sales to minimize delivery/pickup trips
Ability to obtain and communicate sound knowledge of the Company's products and services.
Provide exemplary customer service.
Daily interaction with coworkers, subordinates, managers, and customers must reflect the positive image and exemplary customer service standard set by Mid Valley Ag.
Uphold and comply with driving safety rules, as well as all safety policies of the company.
Able to work effectively in dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions consistent to job functions, strategies, company goals and values.
Ability to provide clear instruction.
Ability to work overtime, as needed
