We're currently seeking a Service Dispatcher to join our dynamic service team. This is a key position responsible for managing the flow of work through the shop, maximizing productivity, and ensuring our customers' vehicles are serviced efficiently and accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive service dispatching or shop coordination preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of repair order flow, warranty processes, and technician time management
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with CDK or similar DMS software a plus
Responsibilities
- Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level, efficiency, and availability
- Monitor shop workflow to ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Department
- Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all MPI and video inspection processes are completed properly
- Track vehicle status and update advisors on progress or delays
- Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area
- Support shop leadership in meeting productivity, CSI, and efficiency goals
