Dispatcher/ Customer Service
About The Position
Avant Business Services is seeking GREAT delivery dispatcher/operations to join our team. The right candidate will need to be motivated, have great work ethic, reliable, always be on time and have delivery/ operations experience. About the Position: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receiving of daily linehaul Scanning freight (small boxes and packages) and sorting to routes Dispatching daily routes to drivers, ensure they are picked up and delivered in a timely manner Training drivers on proper delivery procedures and delivery application Attention to accuracy to avoid mis-sorts MUST be comfortable working independently in office setting Provide Excellent Customer Service Picking and Packing 10-30 orders per day
Requirements
- Must be motivated and willing to learn.
- Must have great communication skills (writing, speaking, e-mails).
- Logistics experience
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use and understand MS Office & as well as other programs & apps (I.e. Google Drive, Whatsapp, etc)
- Ability to work independently in a rapid and changing environment.
- Must have knowledge of CT and NY region
- Proof of Identify and authorized to work in the United States
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to speak English
- Driver's License (Required)
- Ability to work shift of 7am to 5pm (M-F)
- Some holidays required
Nice To Haves
- Dispatcher /operations experience a plus.
- Dispatching: 1 + years (Preferred)
