About The Position

As a Dispatch Supervisor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for managing communication between sales, operations, logistics and finance personnel. Perform supervisory and reporting duties as set forth by manager.

Requirements

• We require a detail-oriented and analytical logistics professional with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in carrier management and negotiation, delivery coordination, and freight cost analysis, with a proven ability to optimize logistics performance.
• Proficiency in logistics and fleet management, along with effective resource planning, is essential.
• Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent practical experience, with at least 4+ years in a related logistics or operations role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily logistics operations, assigning tasks, ensuring quality standards, and supporting team development.
• Provides training and guidance on company practices and procedures to promote accurate, efficient performance.
• Sets team priorities, coordinates workflows with other supervisors, and ensures timely task completion.
• Monitors output and may assist with hands-on logistics work as needed to meet performance goals.
• Applies established policies and procedures to guide decisions and problem-solving, while operating under managerial oversight.
• May contribute to improving logistics processes and operational techniques.
