We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Dispatch & Routing Coordinator. This role is critical in ensuring efficient delivery operations across multiple branches, supporting customer satisfaction, and optimizing routes for maximum efficiency. The Dispatch & Routing Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other routing optimization tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • 1–3 years of experience in fleet/route scheduling (preferred).
  • Familiarity with routing systems, optimization tools, and logistics software (preferred).
  • General knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and manage daily delivery routes using advanced routing systems to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Audit prior day delivery routes to identify and address service gaps.
  • Coordinate and maintain delivery schedules across seven branch locations.
  • Manage and schedule off-route customer delivery requests and undelivered stops from prior routes.
  • Analyze and recommend route changes in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
  • Dispatch real-time delivery requests to appropriate route territories to ensure timely service.
  • Prepare reports on route performance and suggest strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations, where applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and logistics.
