About The Position

Peddler’s Son – Phoenix, AZ Peddler’s Son is a family-owned, Arizona-based wholesale produce and foodservice distributor serving the industry for over 30 years. We are committed to delivering fresh, high-quality products with dependable service to restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and hospitality partners across the state. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Dispatch / Customer Service Manager to lead daily routing operations and oversee our customer service team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient deliveries, accurate communication, and an exceptional customer experience. Schedule Full-time position Saturday work maybe required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Proficiency in routing systems and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Foodservice distribution experience preferred
  • Knowledge of FRESHBITE A PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily dispatch operations and route planning
  • Supervise and support dispatch and customer service staff
  • Coordinate with warehouse and drivers to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Monitor route efficiency, delivery accuracy, and service performance
  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and DOT regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement in routing, communication, and service standards
