Job Description The Dishwasher is responsible for properly washing and sanitizing dishware and keeping the dish area clean and organized.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED certificate preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred
- Food Handler certification required
- Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times
- Able to take direction and work together as a team
- Works calmly and executes job duties effectively under pressure
- High safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
Responsibilities
- Washes all dishes from the restaurant
- Washes pots and pans from the kitchen
- Restock plate ware for the restaurant and kitchen
- Practice and uphold proper safety and sanitation
- Mop floors
- Clean the dishwashing machine, sinks, drains
- Any other duties assign by a manager
