Requirements

Verifiable HS Diploma or GED preferred
One year food service experience preferred
Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certification preferred
Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, ormally 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, then M-W of the next week.
Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check) and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Dishwasher-Dietry/Utility Aide is responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
Porter will assist with meal preparation, dining room assistance, trash removal, dishwashing, and cleaning of kitchen.
Assists in the kitchen area prior to, during, and after meals are served to the patients, and staff.
Assists in maintaining the kitchen work areas, and keeping equipment, utensils and serving areas clean and orderly.
Helps keep kitchen floor dry, wiping or mopping up spills, immediately.
Helps stocks supply shelves in storage area and may help check in deliveries.
Maintains exemplary customer service principles for efficient food preparation and delivery.
Complies with schedule as established by Dietary Management Team, other duties as may be assigned.
