Discovery Point Resort Services Host 18+ As a Resort Services Host, you’ll be responsible for reservations, check in, and escorting processes of all animal interaction programs managed through Discovery Point. Additionally, these ambassadors will maintain cleanliness of the area including trash cans, pathways, restrooms, and laundry. This position demands a high level of guest service, interaction, and communication.
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a SEA driver’s license.
- Must be able to process monetary transactions and accurately use a register.
- Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
- Must have a working knowledge of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in high stress conditions and maintain composure in both presence and communication.
- Possess conflict resolution skills.
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).
- Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.

Responsibilities
- Book and change program reservations while accurately processing monetary transactions.
- Outfit guests in wetsuit attire and assist with locker rentals.
- Inform guests of program guidelines and restrictions, and delivery safety speeches.
- Drive 12 passenger vans to interaction venues.
- Maintain general cleanliness, organization, and quality of park facilities, including all park areas, office buildings, and restrooms.
- Equipment operation including fire hose, pressure washers, blow pack, compactor, and laundry machines.
