Job DescriptionThe Sales Manager, Discovery is responsible for driving revenue growth through direct sales and aggressively expanding our marketshare within basic research environments. This role is laser-focused on winning new customers, penetrating underdeveloped accounts, and effectively positioning BioDot’s Discovery products and services to meet customer needs in pharmabiotech, academic, government, and non-profit research institutions. The ideal candidate thrives in the field, creates opportunities where none existed, and consistently outperforms quota through disciplined prospecting and relentless execution. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE… A science-minded individual with experience marketing/selling to scientists, ideally in the life science industry. Genomics, Proteomics, Drug Discovery experience desired. A sales professional with experience selling & supporting capital equipment products in the $50k to $1M price range. Informed and energized about the improving life science discovery and development. Passionate about working for a company that’s contributing to not only healthcare, but also the community at large and general wellness. An individual looking to contribute to the greater good by commercializing market-leading, next generation technology. LOCATION: The role will serve customers and clients primarily located on the East Coast of the US. Preference will go to candidates located in the Northeast or East Coast regions.
