About The Position

Support Rework with Dis-assemblies of die and components of dies along with cleaning and die maintenance. Seeking a mechanically inclined disassembler to evaluate incoming equipment, perform routine maintenance (split and clean equipment), and troubleshoot disassembly failures using hand tools and some power tools. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in an industrial environment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and parts specifications
  • Excellent organizational and decision making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with various equipment and machining tools
  • Previous experience with electrical components is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to focus on the same task for long periods of time
  • Able to work around heat, Up to 550 degrees for short periods of time.
  • Able to work with hot plastics and plastic fumes.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to read written instructions to perform task.
  • Ability to record and document what is received from customers
  • Candidates should be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand and power tools to disassemble equipment
  • Sandblast small parts
  • Review bills of materials, inspect parts and evaluate die and components.
  • Prepare die and components for next operation according to customer order, prints, and BOMs.
  • Study blueprints and/or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating of die and components related to dies, other part components, or assemblies pertaining to department needs.
  • Material handling – loading and unloading truck
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities including 5S, kaizen and other lean events.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
