About The Position

Our Directors are responsible for providing vision and strategy to improve daily operations and keeping team leaders accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. A Director's two main areas of focus are growing the business and coaching/developing team leaders. Directors lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment. Beginning January 1st 2024, Chick-fil-A Machesney Park will be locally owned and operated by an independent, franchised Operator who is passionate about helping people grow and being a bright spot in the community.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cast vision and execute strategy for a dedicated area of the business
  • Work with the Leadership team to achieve business goals
  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new team leaders, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
