About The Position

FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a results-driven Director based in Orlando Florida, to lead and scale multi-state operations across multiple airports and locations. The Director is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for overseeing Regional Managers I and II, as well as General Managers, ensuring operational excellence, driving revenue growth, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and cultivating strong customer relationships. This position plays a key leadership role in FoxTrot’s growth strategy—bridging executive direction with regional execution, developing leadership talent, and ensuring each market consistently operates to FoxTrot’s standards of safety, reliability, and quality. The Director oversees the combination of Regional Manager I and Regional Manager II, General Manager III and General Manager IV’s who have between 25-60+ location team members, service 2-4 service verticals of Private Aircraft Detailing, Commercial Aircraft Cleaning, Facility Cleaning and MRO Detailing generating $4M to $12M+ in revenue. General Manager I and General Manager II report directly to the GM III and GM IV.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Aviation Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5–10 years of multi-site leadership experience in aviation services, facilities, or operations-intensive industries managing 20+ employees.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, multi-location teams, and P&L accountability.
  • Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards within aviation or industrial environments.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficient with financial reporting, scheduling tools, and operations software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to Regional Managers I and II across assigned airports and markets.
  • Translate company objectives into actionable regional goals and performance plans.
  • Lead multi-location expansion initiatives, new business launches, and customer transitions.
  • Partner with ownership and executive leadership to forecast, plan, and execute regional growth strategies.
  • Champion a safety-first culture across all operations.
  • Review safety audits, incident reports, and training compliance from all subordinate regions.
  • Partner with the Safety and Training Department to implement proactive safety initiatives and ensure alignment with FAA, OSHA, and customer standards.
  • Lead corrective action plans for any region showing safety or compliance gaps.
  • Ensure consistent execution of FoxTrot standards in quality, service delivery, and efficiency across all assigned locations.
  • Evaluate and optimize workforce planning, staffing levels, and scheduling processes.
  • Oversee operational audits and ensure adherence to standardized policies, procedures, and checklists.
  • Support Regional Managers in resolving complex operational issues and customer escalations.
  • Own P&L accountability for the entire region—driving profitability, cost control, and margin improvement.
  • Monitor regional budgets, labor data, and financial performance metrics; develop action plans to address variances.
  • Support and evaluate new revenue opportunities, contract renewals, and pricing strategies.
  • Ensure regional forecasting accuracy and alignment with corporate financial goals.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key customers.
  • Attend customer meetings and business reviews, ensuring FoxTrot’s performance meets or exceeds contractual commitments.
  • Act as an escalation point for major service or quality concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Identify growth opportunities with existing clients and collaborate on new market opportunities.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate Regional Managers and their direct reports to develop strong leadership pipelines.
  • Create succession plans and leadership development tracks within the region.
  • Foster accountability and alignment through performance management, quarterly reviews, and KPI-based incentives.
  • Ensure company culture, values, and expectations are consistently communicated and upheld.
  • Partner with Safety, Training, HR, and Procurement to align resources, improve processes, and elevate regional performance.
  • Collaborate with Scheduling, Payroll, and Finance teams to streamline administrative accuracy.
  • Participate in executive strategy sessions, quarterly planning meetings, and company-wide leadership initiatives.
