About The Position

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will lead global talent acquisition for ANI. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, Human Resources, and hiring managers — building and delivering a talent acquisition strategy that enables continued growth. In this role, you’ll develop scalable hiring processes, elevate the candidate experience, and lead a high-performing recruiting team focused on continuous improvement. This hybrid position works onsite at the Princeton, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 10 years’ full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech, with at least 5 years’ experience in sales recruiting, with rare disease experience.
  • Hands on experience with HR systems, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with emerging AI-driven recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers, partners and candidates.
  • Strong process orientation with a bias for outcomes and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own ANI’s global talent acquisition strategy — translating business priorities into a scalable hiring roadmap that supports growth.
  • Partner closely with executive leaders and HR to forecast talent needs, build pipelines for critical roles, and guide workforce planning.
  • Elevate ANI’s employer brand and candidate experience to compete for top talent across functions and geographies.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing recruiting team—setting clear goals, developing capabilities, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align hiring priorities, role requirements, and selection criteria with business needs.
  • Oversee the full recruiting lifecycle—from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding—while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Build repeatable, scalable, and structured recruiting processes that improve speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Ensure compliant, equitable, and cost-effective hiring practices that align with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Select, manage, and evaluate third-party recruiting partners as needed to meet hiring demand.
  • Use modern sourcing tools and platforms to engage candidates and build diverse pipelines.
  • Guide the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers in adopting AI-enabled recruiting tools and best practices.
  • Use analytics to assess recruiting effectiveness and continuously optimize workflows, channels, and sourcing strategies.
  • Share regular updates on key talent acquisition metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, hires by team) and recommend actions.
