About The Position

Guidewire Software is seeking a Director, Talent Acquisition Operations and Strategy to lead the infrastructure, systems, and global delivery of our Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the VP, Talent Acquisition, this role owns how recruiting operates at scale—spanning TA technology, process design, coordination, employer brand, and vendor strategy. You will partner closely with TA leadership, Finance, Procurement, and Business Technology to drive efficiency, consistency, and a high-quality hiring experience globally.

Requirements

  • 10–15+ years in global Talent Acquisition, with strong experience in TA Operations, TA Technology and Recruiting Enablement
  • Proven ability to build and scale global recruiting infrastructure and processes
  • Proven ability to identify, implement, and scale AI and automation solutions across the recruiting lifecycle to drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency, funnel conversion, candidate experience)
  • Deep experience with ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Workday) and modern recruiting tools
  • Experience leading TA coordination or centralized TA operations teams
  • Strong vendor, stakeholder, and project management skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into action
  • Experience operating in a global environment with complex compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • TA Operations & Process: Design and optimize end-to-end recruiting processes globally; drive efficiency, consistency, and strong candidate experience
  • TA Technology: Own strategy and optimization of our tech stack (e.g., Workday, HiredScore, Joveo, LinkedIn); partner with Business Tech on integrations and enhancements
  • AI & Automation: Define and drive the adoption of AI-enabled recruiting and automation across the TA lifecycle, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and elevate both recruiter and candidate experience
  • TA Coordination Team: Lead global delivery for scheduling, offers, and background checks; define service models and SLAs
  • Employer Brand: Own global employer brand strategy, career site, and talent marketing campaigns
  • Vendors & Contracts: Manage agencies, job boards, and technology partners; partner with Procurement and Finance on spend and performance
  • Data & Insights: Own TA reporting and dashboard content; ensure data integrity and actionable insights
  • Global Compliance: Ensure alignment with global regulations (e.g., GDPR) and consistent governance
