As the Director of Surgical Services at Rapid City Hospital, you will be joining a state-of the art, 300+ patient bed, Level II Trauma Center hospital that provides advanced specialties such as a wide variety of cardiovascular service lines including Cath Lab and surgical services, 24/7 emergency services, and specialty orthopedic/sports medicine services. The OR at Rapid City Hospital consists of 12 rooms designated for surgery with an additional vascular hybrid OR suite. Our surgical service lines are diverse and include robotics, general surgery, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and urology. The team consists of surgical techs, anesthesiologists, RNs, CNORs and other support staff. The Director of Surgical Services at this exceptional hospital will maximize success in the Surgical Services Department by leading with a transformational, hands on leadership style. Responsibilities will include developing and deploying resources to maintain financial performance, and ensure the wellbeing and development of the employees’ talents to adopt ideas, new processes and technology for successful innovation. The Director will continually pursue higher levels of organizational and human performance to include quality, productivity and time performance along with constant collaboration with physicians to always ensure high-end patient care is delivered.
