This leadership role will serve as the university's primary student conduct officer responsible for providing leadership, management, and vision within the Center for Advocacy and Student Experience for the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. This role is responsible for investigation and adjudication of violations of the Student Code of Conduct. The employee will report to the Executive Director, Student Experience and will be responsible for recruiting, supervising, training, and developing their team. This role will also train and provide direction for University hearing officers, serve on the University CARE and UTAT team, and facilitate the recruitment, selection, training, and advising of the Student Conduct Hearing Board and Title IX Adjudication Panel. This employee is responsible for overseeing the development of policies and educational programs/presentations that address student/student organization behavioral issues. This role will serve as a part of the Division of Student Affair’s Leadership Team (SALT) and provide guidance and strategic initiative to better the division and institution. This position will be responsible for the function management and oversight of: student behavioral misconduct process for all campuses, investigation procedures for individual students and student groups/organizations, delivery of behavioral educational content, prevention programs, compliance reporting, CARES leadership, and student policy review.
